I'm glad the sun behaved this weekend and only grumbled. But we're in for some fireworks this week. It should prove informational for solar researchers to see how a three-time sun spot behaves. Will the third time be the charm or a fizzle? We'll have to watch and wait.

Whats a filament going thru the earths strikezone? Are there large blobs of electromagnetic material indulating near or at earth? Can these blobs pull on earths tectonic plates or core?

Have you heard about the video of a supposed very large, round, dark, object supposedly siphoning off plasma from the Sun? I myself suspect it's an illusion of the optics, but it IS there on official NASA project output.

I’m not very clear on this, does the sunfares, solar wind, or the corona massive injections interact with the physical weather in this planet earth like for instance, tornadoes or earthquakes, etc.? And if it does, how does it interact?

We get some pretty rediculious garbage out of NASA some times. What I'm referrring to is the Space Weather Prediction Centers grapical predictions. If we take any celestial body and have an explosion on it's surface we could describe the explosion as above escap velocity or below escape velocity. However if the expolosion is actually above escape velocity then some percentage of the explosive particals will not actually be directed in a direction that will cause them not to return. In fact the mmajority of the explosive particals will actually return to the surface reguardless of their velocity. There is only a very narrow window for escape. Escape velocity of the sun is, of course, incredably high. However this is only mathematically correct at an impossible angle of escape. If we were to add a little supluse velocity then the window of possibility opens. That number is published at 617.KM/sec which is well over a million miles an hour. Understanding the above, let us look at that concept of a suface explosion having escape velocity again. As the explosion has the qualities of an explosion, somof it will be directed dow, some of it will be directed to pass the suns atmosphere at the longes possible approach and some of the blast will be below escape velocity at all. So, what I'm telling you Dr Tamitha is that what goes up is more likely to come back down than any other prediction. Just because sombody got paid to produce pretty computer graphics doesnt mean it is anything other than pretty computer graphics.

Thank you, Dr.Tamitha Skov for the updates! Typically for coronal hole (CH) related activities near June solstice of 2024. I enjoyed it. There may be probability of high speed streams (HSS) related to CH, and if it will impact Earth's magnetosphere it could cause moderate to strong storm. If the HSS may not direct to Earth's bubble, understanding its structure outside magnetosphere is vital being the presence of human ( the spacecraft) is there! Thank you very much!
